Accura Rosser 8(a) JV was the awarded Facilities Engineering Design and Inspection Services (FEDIS) contract to perform engineering design and construction inspection services at Marshall Space Flight Center.  The services include the following:

City of Atlanta

Accura completed this engineering, construction management and inspection project for the project owner, City of Atlanta. This project, called the “Global Gateway to the World” by City of Atlanta officials, serves as the new 1.2 million square-foot International Passenger Terminal and Concourse Facility, at the Atlanta airport, consistently named the busiest in the world. The LEED Gold-certified facility includes 12 new international gates and other additions that enhance passenger customer service.Airport

Accura's involvement on the project consisted of construction management services and inspections and engineering for the entire new terminal; new partially elevated roadway system leading from I-75 to the terminal; airplane approaches along the south and west sides of the terminal; a new 1,200-foot underground connector system between the new terminal and the existing Concourse E; and monitoring/testing required for a new commercial vehicle lot and connector roadway to the east.

Accura had a staff of more than 18 engineers, field technicians and inspectors working on this multi-year project at the nation's busiest commercial airport. Accura's on-site field office served as the base of activity for this contract. Accura hired, trained and retained qualified and licensed individuals to ramp up at the start of the project as well as during the peak construction period.
