USACE Construction Phase Services
Location: Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station (ARS), PA
Accura is providing Construction Phase Services (CPS) on a federal contract that includes five simultaneous new construction/renovation projects at Pittsburgh ARS. Accura is performing contract administration as well as multiple modifications to the contract. Pittsburgh ARS is undergoing a significant mission change in order for the ARS to receive the C-17 Globemaster III as a replacement for the current C-130 Hercules. Construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities for five separate construction activities were overseen by our staff. The project has included significant earthwork, paving and concrete work on roads aprons and taxiways, security fencing surrounding the sites, electronic security and surveillance systems, and high intensity, high mast lighting systems for night operations. As a part of our scope of work, Accura is responsible for observation and reporting on assigned projects to government personnel. Our staff oversees construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established USACE policies, procedures, and regulations.
