USACE Pre-Demolition Surveys
Locations: Fort Drum, NY; Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Fort Belvoir, VA; and Fort Lee, VA.
Accura provided support to the Huntsville Engineering Center in their efforts to reduce existing Army facilities as a part of the Facilities Reduction Program led by the Installation Management Command (IMCOM). Accura conducted pre-demolition assessments, which included Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), Other Regulated Materials (ORM) and Lead-Based Paint (LBP) surveys at IMCOM installations at Fort Drum; Aberdeen Proving Ground; Fort Belvoir and Fort Lee. Accura planned and conducted the environmental sampling as well as quantified the environmental contamination an over 100 buildings and 1.1M square feet of space at the four installations on an expedited schedule.
